An Education Ministry requested parents to bring to the notice of the ministry regarding illegal money collection for Grade One admissions for various development and infrastructure development projects, including building constructions. It has been revealed that authorities of several schools countrywide are collecting money violating Education Ministry circulars, especially issued on the banning of illegal money collection in schools.

The news stated that the ministry has received a considerable number of complaints regarding illegal money collection in connection with Grade One admissions therefore the government has taken steps to stop the illegal money collection for grade 1 admissions.
