The Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya starts the History Certificate Course for Central Province Teachers. This Certificate Course is for History teachers drawn from Central Province schools, with 110 in this course which would be for 6 months, this Course would be conducted by the Faculty of Arts.

this programme has stated to helping the teachers to improve their teaching skill and how to educate the history at the school level. this programme would be enrich the teachers to know more about the history and allow them to more involve into the subject line.
