Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management is the only Government Training Institute, operated under the Ministry of Economic Development to train youth in the field of Hospitality.
Certificate level leading to a 4 year diploma with specialization

Entry Qualifications:
- G.C.E O/L – Minimum Three credits and Three ordinary passes including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
- Age Limit over 18 years
Re-Admission : Students who have previously qualified at the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management in any of the Certificate Level disciplines could re-apply for another discipline.
A Limited number of scholarships are available for students from low income families.
Applications should be forwarded to SLITHM Colombo or relevant Provincial Colleges of admission on or before 10th July 2014.
