Remuneration

An Officer Cadet will be paid a salary of approximately LKR. 38,000/- per month during the training period. In addition, the following facilities will be provided free of charge:

• General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University reserves the exclusive right to shortlist the candidates.
• Selected candidates will be required to enter into an agreement and sign a bond with the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, prior to admission to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University
• Upon successful completion of the degree, candidates will be commissioned in the Sri Lanka Army / Navy / Air Force and are required to serve for a compulsory period.
