Al- Agil Scholarship Fund 2015 – Scholarship for Islamic Students

Applications are invited from promising and needy students who have gained entry to universities in Sri Lanka based on the GCE, A/L 2013 Examination results to follow courses in the faculties of Medicine, Engineering and Computer Science.

Not less than 30% of the scholarships will be for those adhering faiths other than Islam.

Eligible applicants may obtain application forms by sending by post to

Al Agil Scholarship Fund

23/3, Market Road,

Dharga Town – 12090

Along with below

A written request for an application form
Photocopy of UGC document proving selection for undergraduate studies, and
Personal Email address,

not later than 14^th March 2015

Application forms will be sent to eligible applicants only through Email.

Students receiving financial assistance from non-governmental sources or being considered for such assistance please do not apply.

Completed Application Forms should reach the Fund on or before 25^th March 2015.

Please note that only the short listed applicants will he communicated with.

I have got through my A/L in 2013 in Maths stream. Now I am going to do HNDE conducted by SLIATE Mattakuliya. Can I apply for the scholarship?

Just now i heard about the application. I think it will take time for the letter to reach. Can i send the request letter through email?

  you have to apply by Post, do it speed post or registered Post, it will released within a days maximum 2 days.
  and there is no email for you to send them.
  
  they will email you if your qualify for the scholarships only.

My daughter has 4th year Medical student in SAITM ( South Asia Institute Technology and Medicine) in Malabe Sri Lanka. Total cost for MBBS is SLR 6.4 million. I have already paid SLR 4.4 million. so, we need SLR 2 million financial assistance to complete MBBS. Therefore , please tell me about your situation in this regard.

Does this organization provide scholarship for students who performed well in G.C.E Ordinary level (also with some financial problems) & who are currently studying there at A/L classes??
